UTME Candidates

• Choose OAU, Ile-Ife as the first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME.
• Score 200 or above in the UTME.
• Have at least five credit passes, including English Language, in no more than two sittings.
• Attend the Post-UTME screening or face disqualification.

Direct Entry Candidates

• No additional screening is needed except for verification of uploaded credentials.
• Ensure transcripts are sent to the OAU Admission Office for processing.

Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates

• Must register for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME.

General Admission Requirements

• Hold a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with credit passes in at least five subjects.
• Pass in the English Language at O’ Level.
• Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, a credit pass in Mathematics at O’ Level is required.
• A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at O’ Level.

How to Apply

Application Period

• Registration starts on Monday, 5th August 2024, and ends on Sunday, 1st September 2024.

Steps to Apply

1. Visit the OAU Admissions Portal.
2. Log in using your Registration Number as the Username and your Surname as the Password.
3. Complete the biodata form and click continue.
4. Obtain an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment online or at any commercial bank.
5. Re-login once payment is confirmed.

Important Screening Information

• Screening is conducted online. Candidates are not required to travel to the University.
• Providing false information or incorrect credentials will result in disqualification.
• Check the screening schedule on the OAU Admissions Portal from Tuesday, 3rd September to Saturday, 7th September 2024.
• Participate in the post-UTME screening on your allocated dates and times from 9th September to 13th September 2024.
